Local window and door contractors, straight answers
Window and door contractors who measure the openings themselves, flash them so they never leak, and price per opening on paper.
About Nashville's Windows & Doors
Nashville's Windows & Doors is a window and door company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Windows are sold by salesmen and installed by whoever is available, and the leak shows up three winters later at the sill. Our installers measure their own openings, flash to the manufacturer’s spec, and put the price per opening in writing before anything is ordered.
What we do
- Measure every opening. The installer measures, not the salesperson; a window ordered from a tape reading in the kitchen is the one that arrives wrong.
- Flash to the spec. Sill pan, tape sequence, head flashing — the way the manufacturer draws it, because that is what the warranty reads.
- Price per opening. Each window and door with its own line, so a change is a line and not a new quote.
What we will not do
- Sell you the top line for a rental. A good vinyl window is the right window for many houses; the pitch for triple-pane on a starter home is a commission, not advice.
- Caulk instead of flash. Caulk is the last step, not the waterproofing; a window that relies on it leaks when the caulk does.
- Quote from the curb. The count is easy from the street; the condition of the frames is not, and the price depends on it.
What we actually work on
What a Nashville glass company gets called for — windows, doors, and the seals between them.
The window and door problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Drafts you can feel
- Windows fogged between the panes
- Painted or swollen shut
- Power bills too high
- Front door looks tired
- Road noise inside
- Foggy glass between the panes
- A cracked window pane
Who does the work
Every window and door crew we run carries liability insurance on file with us and holds the Tennessee contractor’s license the job value requires; installers are certified by the brands they fit where the brand offers it.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a window and door job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The window and door contractors who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No star ratings and no borrowed testimonials on this site; a company this new does not have them yet, and the window business has enough invented ones.
Where we work
Window and door installers serving Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the whole range is 65 towns in 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for window and door, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our window and door guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any window and door contractor in the region, including us.
Who we are
Nashville's Windows & Doors belongs to Michael Blair, who runs it and is accountable for every word here. The pages draw on manufacturer installation instructions, Tennessee building code and how window installers actually work, updated as any of that shifts; his name and a date sit on every post. Installers fitting your openings are licensed and insured, bound by the promises made here, and Nashville's Windows & Doors backs each window and door they set.
Any window installer, us included, should pass three checks: a Tennessee contractor’s license, searchable at verify.tn.gov; an insurance certificate you can request before the first sash comes out; and the permit office that covers you, which each town’s page names.
